I think Peter is showing some improvement, which is wonderful, although I still think it’s going to be a fairly long road to recovery for him. He was able to do a couple different activities for 10 minutes or more, which is a great improvement from yesterday and Thursday. That said, he still needs to spend most of the day in the darkened bedroom, either sleeping or listening to quiet music, which seems to help. Still, 10-20 minutes of an activity with hours of rest needed between isn’t exactly conducive to a regular life, let alone life with a 2.5 year old.
Luckily, his mom offered to fly in to help, so she will be here Monday night, which will be so amazing.
Thank you so much to everyone who has offered to help. I think we will be ok to make it through to Monday, unless someone wants to join us somewhere tomorrow for a play date. It’s really hard to keep a two year old “quiet”!
