Just a brief update on baby watch here. As of 4:30 pm local time Shannon was 6 cm dilated and having steady contractions at 3 minute intervals. The baby is in perfect position (very low) and all are confident that Shannon can continue to proceed with her desired natural childbirth as of now. In fact, the nurses have politely offered her several labor enhancements which she has declined–and they are fine with that. Will post again when there is more news!
